Designing and creating innovative exhibitions. ES undertook the concept, interior and detail design services for tender for the Concord Discovery center, a exceptional needs school requiring a broad range of activity spaces. ES was then commissioned to undertake the full implementation, including fabrication installation. ES produce innovative interpretation for heritage sites in both urban and isolated settings. Passionate about ideas, our team combines creative and technical skills to create innovative exhibition concepts which bring places, collections, ideas and stories to life. ES worked in close consultation with Questacon to detail design, engineer, manufacture and install this world first double cam wave exhibit. ES also developed three touchscreens based exhibits on various themes related to health and prevention of disease. ES designed and constructed each figurative element to gesture a visual play of time. As part of an ongoing relationship with the CSIRO Discovery center ES were recently commissioned to design, develop, fabricate and install the new CSIRO Climate exhibit space. This exhibit is a combination of exciting interpretive design and re configuring of existing infrastructure. The thematic design is based on the abstraction of ice and air and serves to highlight the key elements in the climate change issue. Also included in the exhibit space is a specially designed digital interactive that draws on key themes presented. ES undertook the design, fabrication and installation of 6 interactive. Designed for children aged between 6 and 10 years, the exhibits allows participants to explore the various forms of energy and the influence we have on its use. It includes a range of exhibit experiences including interactive exhibits, immersive spaces for role play, and opportunities for visitor participation and creativity. The replication of the 120sqm fiber glass surface mine recreates an organic, sculpted mine with the inclusion of excavation machining markings in the walls and ceiling. Interpretation involved introducing displays to represent the building's uses over its history whilst highlighting its continued use. ES was commissioned by Lesa to design, fabricate and install the beginning phase of exhibition spaces for a major museum redevelopment. ES’s involvement included implementation of the interpretive plan for the courthouse through concept and detail design, fabrication and installation of a mixture of internal and outer exhibits. Innovative strategies that are unexpected and engrossing are used, together with the more conventional and informative displays to create an engaging experience. ES provided whole design, management, fabrication and installation services for the exhibition. ES provided a turnkey product including concept development, interpretive elements, outside signage, interior design and construction. This inspirational exhibition and educational center provides an immersive environment, using tactile and other sensory exhibits to allow people of all ages to experience vision impairment. Recently installed, our in house team was responsible for the detailed design, fabrication and installation of the works.
